Transit Advocate Training

Our mission is to build grassroots support for funding regional transit.

Building grassroots support means giving residents the tools to protect what matters: public transit.

Transit Advocates help protect what matters by sharing their own stories and perspectives about why transit is essential.

The statement ‘transit is essential’ is validated each time someone boards a bus or train.

Individual freedoms are directly tied to mobility.

Jessica Dauphin, President and CEO

Mobility is the foundation of living–whether it’s to access a job, educational opportunities, social engagements, or healthcare appointments.

Transit use promotes healthier, more active lifestyles and aging in place, helps to build more equitable cities, lowers dangerous carbon emissions, and can even improve community health outcomes. It matters.
