It’s Time. It’s Up to Us. Let’s Address Middle Tennessee’s Mobility Challenges: Join the Conversation!
It’s time to face the new mobility challenges Middle Tennesseans have grappled with since the Let’s Move Nashville referendum failed over five years ago. The urgency is clear, and communities need to share their concerns now! The Transit Alliance is listening and ready to take action.
Middle Tennessee is confronting growing mobility obstacles, and the best way to tackle them is by engaging with residents directly. That’s why we’ve partnered with Network for Sustainable Solutions (NSS) to conduct dynamic listening sessions throughout Nashville. We want to connect with community members, understand their challenges, and identify preferred solutions.
Together, with the support of local organizations, we’ve launched Transit Together: A Discussion on Transit Solutions. These facilitated conversations will empower neighbors to come together, listen, and share insights on core values, immediate needs, and long-term visions. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing a community-prioritized plan for transit and mobility improvements that align with their unique needs and growth aspirations. You decide what drives Nashville forward!
Transit Together is supported by nonprofits dedicated to enhancing residents’ quality of life. Participating in these sessions will contribute to a collective understanding of the challenges and solutions surrounding mobility. The Transit Alliance and Network for Sustainable Solutions will document and publicize the ideas expressed by the communities we meet, strengthening the decision-making process.
We need as many community members as possible to participate and make their voices heard. Register to attend one our community listening sessions and spread the word to your networks. The more feedback we receive, the more reliable and actionable our results will be–your voice and experience count!
Transit isn’t just about transportation; it impacts our social fabric, environment, and economy.
Feel like you can do more than attend? Talk to Jessica about hosting a listening session! By hosting a Transit Together session, you can be at the forefront of positive change in your community. Contact Jessica Dauphin at jessica.dauphin@thetransitalliance.org to learn more about hosting a session.
Together, we can Middle Tennessee’s mobility challenges head-on. Join us for Transit Together and help shape how we drive into the future of Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We look forward to seeing you there!
Onward,
